I believe that A Teacher become more respectable for you.. When you find that the Teacher also respects you... Loves you ...like the way you love and respect the teacher. So guys enjoy and please share your views..

Teachers are the best I have heard,
But I clearly believe when you entered into
                                                    my small world,

It was one of my amazing day when I met you,
The wind of curiosity but natural blew ,

You are so special for me,
As you made my life full of glee,

Teacher's day had been always for me
But this one day help me to tell you that,

You are the most lovable, respectable from every view,

Every day is Teacher's day for me,
                                                   It's great learning from you....

So friends tell me your point of view. You can email me at tulsaved@yahoo.in or tulsaved@gmail.com. If you've written any poetry, please share in the comment box and if you wish to write one, ask me and I will help you.

Poetry Learning and Recitation

Hello Friends... After a long time I am writing on the blog as I was completely busy in my studies.. Now we have the vacation..On 21st April, we had a session on 'Carry a Poetry in Pocket Day' at 'Swagat'.  Our ma'am explained how to write a poetry and how to recite a poem. I thought of sharing with you some tips on this.

First of all how to make poetry. There are so many subjects on which we can make poetry. For example on nature, on your teacher, on your parents, on your life, on your best singer or actor/actress, on your favourite animal etc. If you have good vocabulary it's not necessary to think while writing poetry , it'll come on your own, quite naturally. Another thing to represent poetry is also very important. Though your poetry is not so interesting but if you represent it nice way everyone will enjoy. There should be expression of every word. Your voice should be polite, soft and clear voice and expression should be sweet. So guys I am sure now you also learn how to make poetry and represent it.. You can get more information on http://kidsfsedblog.blogspot.in/2010/08/simple-tips-on-how-to-memorize-and.html. Here I am presenting two poetry one is written by me and another one I have learnt in 'Swagat' which can be recited with great expressions...

Dear mamma Why are you late??

Couple of weeks ago I was waiting for my mom for when she would come to pick me up, that day I was very tired and when mamma didn't cam on right time to pick me up, I became angry but all of a sudden one poetry started making in my mind. My all anger was removed and I felt gleeful. Hope you enjoy it..

Dear mamma... Why are you late??
                                               Why are you late??
I am getting tired I don't wanna get late
                                                I don't wanna get late...
Yesterday you were early but I think It's rarely
                                               Why are you late??
                                               Why are you late??
From morning to evening & evening to morning
                                               I see you busy working
                                               I understand your situations
But I have series of tuition
                                               Why are you late??
                                               Why are you late??
I am tired to see people going to their places
Knowing or unknowing but with glee on their faces
There's no one who talk with me
The same banners are tired to see me
                                             Please don't  feel sad
                                                   I am sorry for that
As I have no purpose to nag
But there's only one question which I ask
                                                Why are you late??
                                                Why are you late??

In a Cottage in a Wood

In a cottage in a wood,
A little girl at a window stood,
Saw a rabbit running while,
Passing through the door,
Help me! Help me! Help me! said,
All the hunters should be there,
Come here rabbit come to me,
Happy you shall be.

Inspirational Quotes

A smile is quite a funny thing,
It wrinkles up your face,
And when it's gone, you never find
It's secret hiding place.

But far more wonderful it is
To see what smiles can do
You smile at one, he smiles at you
And so one smile makes two.

He smiles at someone since you smiled
And that one smiles back;
And that one smiles, until in truth
You fail in keeping track.

Now since you smile can do a great good
By cheering hearts of care,
Let's smile and smile, and not forget
That smiles go everywhere !

God wove a web of loveliness of clouds and stars and birds, but made not anything at all so beautiful as WORDS.

Do all the good you can,
By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can.

A canner, exceedingly canny,
One morning remarked to his granny,
"A canner can
Anything that he can,
But a canner can't can a can, can he? "

Doing easily what others find difficult is talent; doing what is impossible for talent is genius.

Little drop of water, little grains of sand, Make the mighty ocean and the pleasant land.

Doing easily what others find difficult is talent; doing what is impossible for talent is genius.

Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety percent perspiration.

He who loves not his country can love nothing.

Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.

Hating people is like burning down your own house to get rid of a rat.

Who never wins can rarely lose... Who never climbs as rarely falls.

A smile is quite a funny thing,
It wrinkles up your face,
And when it's gone, you never find
It's secret hiding place.

A teacher affects eternity;
he can never tell where his influence stops.

Tomorrow will I live, the fool does say;
Today itself's too late; the wise lived yesterday.

Inspirational Story

Some days I ago,I read one story from book whose author is Dr.I.K.Vijliwala. It was really nice and inspired story,I am presenting its review here.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart

The story is about the boy named Howard Kelly who was very poor and he was orphan. To pay his school fees he was doing job of hawker.

One day from the morning he was selling things but his luck was bad. No one was interested to buy anything from him. It was noon time and even he was very tired. At last, he saw a house and he knocked the door. One beautiful lady came out. Kelly asked her if she want to buy anything. The lady enthusiastically bought so many things. Kelly felt very happy but her tummy started complaining .He asked the lady if she give her one glass water. The lady knew that Kelly was very tired and hungry so she offered him food but he rejected. The lady was impressed by Kelly and she found solution. She gave him one glass of milk.

After so many years the lady suffered with big disease. No one was able to find solution. After great trouble the doctor transferred her for treatment to the big hospital. There they found solutions. Slowly and gradually she became normal. But she was worried about bill. When Clark gave her bill it was written
"bill paid. One glass of milk paid everything." - Dr. Howard Kelly...

The lady got so emotional. Kelly's sign was wet by tears of lady....

My Ma'am - Happy Birthday:-)

My Ma'am

I thought very much while I was writing about ma'am. Its hard to explain in my small words. She is the only one whom I respect, whom I call ma'am. Generally for the Gujarati medium student English subject is very irritating and it was also irritating for me from the 1st std. as I am in Gujarati medium. If someone told me to write some thing in English I got threatened.

I remember that when I was going to the English tuition, one day teacher told me to write a story. fuuuu!!! I went home and cried a lot that I don't want to write a story and finally copied from storybook.

Afterwards one aunty who was living near our house, advised my mom to take me to the Ilaxi ma'am. First time when I met her She sweetly asked me my name and my standard. After one month I joined 'Swagat children library'.

I was feeling very odd on the first day as I found ma'am very strict. Day passed by slowly and gradually I understood that how lucky I am! who got teacher like Ilaxi ma'am.

Each and every class is very special for me. I learn so many things. I even had Personality development class with her. I learnt good manners, how to talk to parents and elders, how to present on stage confidently, voice modulation and many other things. She is the one made me discover my inner strength and motivated me. When I was attending English tuition earlier, at some other class, teacher was complaining my mom that Tulsa is very weak, she didn't have concentration in class etc. But no one try to understood me.I am glad Ilaxi ma'aam believed me.

After joining 'Swagat children library' I found real teacher who was Ilaxi ma'am. I found joy of giving. It is not tuition its like a fun and learn class. Study and Fun both we enjoy in class. After sometime I have started speaking in English and reading novels. Whenever I found my mood off , I did her homework and automatically my mood was on!! Everyone was telling me that I am nothing. But after joining class I came out from all this. I feel proud that I am able to speak in English though I am in Gujarati medium, I am blogger. All this credit goes to Ilaxi ma'am. I am proud to be her student. I feel today that I am something. I have my own Identity.

I was like a 'Duffer girl' but ma'am fully changed me. I took inspiration from her. She is Content manager and works day in and out. Earlier she was Official Blogger and VA of M.J.Akbar. She has so many blogs and writes on different topics like politics, health, kids etc. She spend Saturdays for Swagat children since over 20 years. She types very fluently with great speed. She is house wife too and manage all things on her own. Her life is full of inspirations. I never felt bore while doing her any work.

I haven't more words to write about her. She is the one who has taken place in my heart. After god and my family. She is the most lovely, important, unforgettable, respectable person in my life. She changed my life and way of living.

My dream is to make her proud and write a book on her when I grow up. Today 22 October is her birthday. I haven't any precious gift to give her. So I gift this article to her.

Thank you ma'am for making me believe in myself.

I took inspiration from Abraham Lincoln

It was my bad day .From morning my mood was off .I found something to be irritating that day.It was Tuesday evening and I was ready to go in music class.

I went to music class. All of a sudden sir announced our result .Oh!! My heart beat began to pounce up & down. And at last it happened. I got little bad marks. I was very sad. Even my concentration was not there in the music.

While in car I scarcely told my mom. But she told me not to worry as my music exam was after one week than school exams so I have only week for preparations. And I got bad marks. Mom and daddy spent there money and time for music class though I didn't satisfied them even. All the time while in car I was thinking like that.

Another day I went to school. I also told ma best friend. She tried a lot get my mood on. But I was in a deep thinking. The school starts with S.S. period. Sir entered in the class. While talking about U.S.A suddenly he started talking about Abraham Lincoln with us.

He told a short story of Abraham Lincoln. Abraham was very weak during his school time. He was being unsuccessful in each & every election. Though confidently and luckily he stood up for election of president. Every one who knows Abraham believed that this time he is also going to be failed. The people who was oppose to him, was announcing that Abraham is very weak, to be fail is only in his luck. He is not able to be a President so doesn’t vote him. This inspired people. And Abraham won the election. According to that there is none President till today who got as much votes as Abraham Lincoln.

Woo!! I felt very nice and relieved. Every worst incident teaches us new lessons of life. I learn that experience is a best teacher. Life is series of experience, each one makes us bigger.

My visit to Mundra

As it was my charming day, I was very excited because our principal informed us than we are going to visit at Mundra for 2 days - 29th and 30th August. I packed my bag and collected all the things which are useful in the journey. Our Principal announced that our journey is about 9 hours so all students have to reach at school on early morning at 5'0 clock.

The way to Mundra was awesome. There was lush, green forest, greenery.... Wow it -was like - there is no words to appreciate it. And the rain was addicting beauty in it. Even in the bus we enjoyed too much. We played Damsheraz, Antakshari, Wordsearch etc. So our time was spend very easily. In the afternoon at 2:30 we reached at the hotel of Adani. The hotel was very huge, the rooms of the hotel was also very big and nice and food was delicious.

After taking our lunch we started our journey to Mundra Port. But unluckily the rain started so guide of Adani announced that they show full port from the bus. There was huge and so many trucks in the port. It was constructed on the bank of the sea. The guide also showed us one of their steamer. The wealth of steamer was 900 crores and they have 15 steamers. Oh my god!!!

Afterwards we went to the hotel. We took our dinner. We watched the slide show of Adani. Then we went to our room. Our principal and hotel manager was thinking that we were in extreme deep sleep but no, that night was full of gossip. We played cards, share our facts, eat chocolates, biscuits and waffers. It was the one of my best night with my friends.

On the other day after taking breakfast we visited oil refinery. It was very large and reputed refinery of Adani. We saw how they make tin pots, how they give shape to tin pots, how they make the top and the bottom of tin pots, how they feel oil in the tin pots and bottles. And all this happen because of machines. They use small car to move bottles and tin pots of oil. There was spacious machines and different tipe of oil.

Afterwards we returned at A'bad. A visit to Mundra was very knowledgeable. We got knowledge how machine works. We also came to know that the world is progressing too much.

Quotes for you

It is good to have money and the things that money can buy.But it is good, too,to check up once in a while and make sure that you haven't lost the things that money can't buy...

If we cannot luv the person whom we see so how can we luv the god whom we cannot see..

Three sentence for getting sucess:

Know more than other
Work more than other
Expect less than other

If u win you need not explain...But if u lose you should not be there to explain.

Don't compare yourself with anyone in this world. If you do so you are insulting yourself.

Whatever you gives to life it gives you back. Do not hate anybody. The hatred which comes out from you will somebody come back to love others. And love will come back to you.

Remember you are born to live. Don't live because you born! Don't go the way life takes you. Take life the way you go!!

Arrow goes forword only after pulling in to backward. Every human will get happy only after facing the difficulties in their path.. So do not affraid to face your difficulties. They will push you forword.

What we are today is result of our own past actions; Whatever we wish to be in future depends on our present actions; Decide how you have to act now. We are responsible for what we are, whatever we wish ourselves to be. We have the power to make ourselves.

The most difficult face on life is not when no one understand you; It is when you don't understand yourself.

You can't change the past but you can ruin a perfectly good present by worring about the future.

Don't change with the change but change before the change.

Life is not matter of milestones but of moments.

Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

My first Poetry - Carried my poetry in my bag

Last Saturday, 16th April 2011, we had 'Carry your Poetry in your Bag/pocket Day'. We had so much fun learning 'How to write a poetry'. We enjoyed the Poetry writing session and learned how to rhyme words and build our vocabulary. We tried to write our own poetry - my first creation and I gifted this poetry sheet to my friend.
Please read my poetry below:

My Teacher

Thank you Mam, to step into my world,
And bring brightness in my mind
I love to do the work you give me,
Wondering and writing it with full of glee.

You are the best teacher in the world,
But it's not enough to say in my little words
I promise to make you feel proud one day,
I hope it turns too fast some day.

Gandhiji

Gandhiji, a man of principles,
self made was he,
He fought for our freedom,
Made India Free.

How did he lead freedom revolution,
Truth and violence was the key,
The Britishers' got fright of the nation,
That made them flee.

I became a Leader - I managed my Library Class

I became a Leader!

It was a shiny, bright day that Saturday on 19th February. My eyes blinked at the tic-toc of the watch and eagerly waited for the clock to strike 3.00 so that I can rush for the Library class. Since a year, I am so attached to my Library and love to be there amidst all odds. I was busy watching the inspirational videos on You Tube. All of a sudden, my mom called me downstairs. She informed me that my Library Mem rang up to say that she was stuck up in the city traffic and could not reach the Library on time. She had requested me to attend and manage the class. I was very excited and started planning how I can manage the class. For the first time, I was going to manage a class on my own and my joy was tremendous. Earlier, when I attended another class, whenever teacher told to manage the class, my sister was there to do so. Hence, this had been the first chance to prove my leadership abilities.

I was in great mood and as fast as I can, I reached my Library. None of the students had yet come and so, I got the opportunity to re-arrange the chairs and books on the shelf. I wrote new quotes on the board and waited for all to come. Soon, all children came one by one. I informed them of Mem's absence and told them that I will be assigning them their class work. First, they shouted with glee and chatted their way happily for some time. Even I had fun but soon, I had my responsibility and so, I made them write the quotes, meanings and idioms - as a routine that we write. It is difficult to manage naughty children and I can't shout to them as they would yell at me. But, I knew I could manage them and took a deep breadth. I gave them time limit to finish the quotes, meanings and idioms. Once, this was over, students started Loud Reading one by one. I helped them where they cannot pronounce well or failed to read properly.

It was an interesting Loud reading sessions and later, we shared our experiences that we came across in school. The class was very interactive and we all were engrossed in our activities. I am grateful that my mem put the trust and faith in me and this experience made me more confident. That day, I learnt five precious things that are useful in our life:

1. Patience : I learnt patience and knew that it brings in positive results
2. Managing on own without relying on other's shoulders. Normally, we are dependent on our parents at home and in school, we rely on our teachers. But, to manage on own requires great efforts and I learnt this well.
3. Resposibility. First work and than fun. I realized how to be more responsible.
4. Hard work pays result. All of us, sincerely worked hard even in absense of my teacher and I think this will help us in longer run.
5. Planning out - delegate a team and aim for perfection. If I had not planned, everything would be chaos.

This day has been a memorable day in my life. I am inspired and I hope, you will learn my five precious points above.

My memorable Journey experience

My wonderful experience and the one that I would like to share with a quote:

'Experience is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterwards'

Life is like a dream. We meet different people while we take our journey. These connections make us wiser and teach us lot of things. We come across good and bad incidents. Frightening too. Five years ago, when I was in third Grade, my family decided to spend and enjoy our vacation at Mahableshwar. We set off our journey in the month of July. The train journey for me was very fascinating and I really enjoyed the scenic beauty. We stayed at Ram Sukh Resort at Mahableshwar for 7 days. It was a nice hotel which gave us a very comfortable stay. Our days were going full of bliss and happiness. Mahableshwar is so beautiful where people live peacefully. It's awesome! It is very well known for its natural beauty. There are many Strawberry gardens there.

At the last day of our return journey, our train was to land at 5.00 from Pune. We decided to reach Pune by taxi. Our Hotel Manager booked a taxi for us. He told us that the taxi will come at 12.00 but after waiting for half an hour, it did not turn up. Finally, the taxi came at 1.00. We comfortably seated in the taxi but all of a sudden, the taxi stopped as there was a pucture in the tyre. He changed it fast but half an hour passed and we got late. We reached Pune station at 4.30. The station was too crowded. My grandparents were also with us. They took time to walk. So, we sent the taxi driver with them. They took short cut. We had to take our platform tickets so we went another way. In this procedure, we forgot to take our train tickets from our grandparents. When we reached the platform, Dad remembered that the tickets were with my grandparents. It also happened that the taxi driver took my grandparents to the wrong platform. We reached the train but with no tickets. And grandparents were not traceable there and we had no idea where they could be. We felt so scared. We pulled the chain. The train driver called the officer of the Railway station. All of a sudden we saw some officers with the police. We felt very frightened. Officers came and enquired about our chain pulling. My Dad explained the whole story. But, they asked for tickets. They even did not try to understand our condition.

Meanwhile, two men came and helped my grandparents to reach the platform. They called my Dad and gave the message that my grandparents were alright and we need not worry about them. Soon, we saw them and felt comfortable. We met them and showed the tickets to the Officer. We were more than happy and thankful to the two god-sent human beings who helped us in the nick of time.

It is so inspiring that these two gentleman came to help my grandparents. They did not know us yet thought of a kind deed and spared their time to help my grandparents reach safely to us. We should always be helpful to people around us when they need our help.

HER BOOK COLLECTION: Devanshi has 50-100 books and love to read amazing novels, knowledge stories, historical books and others in her home library.

A concerned Question: Should school going girls go to Beauty Parlour and take up fancy things to school ?

Answer: No. Devanshi believes, there is no need to go to Beauty parlours as school is a place for study and not fashion. Taking fancy things to school is not good either as all cannot afford to bring costly fancy things.

My Amazing Experience

Today, I would like to share an amazing experience with you. We always have a misunderstanding or an illusion that 'We are the Best.' Nobody can be better than me and I thought, I am perfect.

However, an incident changed my opinion that there are many others who are clever than us and we should accept our drawbacks. I met a co-student at my Reading Library 'Swagat.' She seemed hyper minded, she didn't know how to speak properly and spoke like a child. But, last Saturday, she gave us a great surprize! My friends and I, were amazed to see her Project. All of us did a 'Cartoon Project' in the classroom and were given a worksheet to view and jot down our notings on the cartoon clip. She had done a very nice project and noted down her points in a very informative way. She had detailed the whole cartoon picture and what message it conveyed.

My attitude changed from that day. I am very fond of her now and see all her positive sides. I think, we should not under-estimate others. Each person is born with their own positives and negatives. Some children are fast learners and some are slow. We do not excel in everything and we should always be positive. I learnt a lesson from my friend - "Work hard, Be positive and be Open-minded."

Happiness comes from giving

An E-mail Forward I received today. This is very inspiring story. Indeed, Happiness comes from Giving and we all should help others. In doing so, we can bring a smile on someone's face and be happy too.

Happiness Comes from Giving

This story is about a beautiful, expensively dressed lady who complained to her psychiatrist that she felt that her whole life was empty, it had no meaning. So, the lady went to visit a counselor to seek out happiness. The counselor called over the old lady who cleaned the office floors.

The counselor then said to the rich lady "I'm going to ask Mary here to tell you how she found happiness. All I want you to do is listen to her."

So the old lady put down her broom and sat on a chair and told her story:

"Well, my husband died of malaria and three months later my only son was killed by a car.I had nobody... I had nothing left. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat,I never smiled at anyone, I even thought of taking my own life.

Then one evening a little kitten followed me home from work. Somehow I felt sorry for that kitten. It was cold outside, so I decided to let the kitten in. I got it some milk, and the kitten licked the plate clean.

Then it purred and rubbed against my leg and for the first time in months,I smiled. Then I stopped to think, if helping a little kitten could make me smile, maybe doing something for people could make me happy. So the next day I baked some biscuits and took them to a neighbor who was sick in bed.

Every day I tried to do something nice for someone. It made me so happy to see them happy. Today, I don't know of anybody who sleeps and eats better than I do. I've found happiness, by giving it to others."

When she heard the rich lady cried. She had everything that money could buy, but she had lost the things which money cannot buy.

I Love Reading

My Amazing Experience:

It was in March 2010, my parents introduced me to my Library class. I was reluctant to join an extra class activity and that too - Reading! It was boring for me to read books. However, I had no alternate but to visit the Library on a routine saturday.

I came across many story books - short stories and fairy tales. It was easy to read and I got the confidence that I lacked. Apart from stories, I even read magazines and comic books. Slowly and gradually, my interest developed and I formed the habit of reading. My handwriting was no good and when I started writing book reviews of the stories I realized how to write better. Soon, I started writing cursive. Also, I have made many friends and we all love to do many Projects in the classroom. The recent Project was on Cartoons and we had a great time with the power point presentation. We enjoyed doing the scrap book and watching the Popeye movie.

I am inspired by the amazing strength of my teacher who spares her saturdays since years for children like me. She encourages and motivates for reading and other activities that we are not taught at school. She cultivates our reading habits and today, inspite of being in Gujarati medium, I can read, speak and write better English.

This experience of mine, will take me a long way in my life and now, I love to read. I have already completed reading Ladybird classics - Oliver Twist, Sinbad the sailor and The Prince and the Pauper. My reviews follow soon.
